Craig Davison brings nearly a decade of agribusiness experience to his role as Business Development Manager at FM & Sons Haulage, with a strong background across sales, operations, agronomy and customer relationship management.
Before joining FM & Sons, Craig spent almost nine years with NuEdge Solutions as Operations Manager and Territory Manager. During this time, he led sales across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales, working closely with growers to understand their farming operations and develop tailored nutrition programs. His experience supplying liquid fertilisers, soil conditioners and foliar nutrition products gave him a practical understanding of agricultural production and the challenges growers face throughout the season.
Craig now brings that same practical, customer-focused approach to the transport industry. In his role with FM & Sons, he works closely with growers, customers, brokers, subcontractors and industry partners to identify freight opportunities and develop reliable, commercially effective transport solutions.
A key part of Craig’s role is strengthening freight networks across Australia’s grain supply chain. Working alongside the FM & Sons operations team, he aligns customer requirements with available fleet capacity, secures backloads, reduces empty kilometres and improves the utilisation of both the company’s own fleet and its trusted subcontractor network. His focus extends beyond securing the next load to developing consistent freight pathways and long-term partnerships that deliver value for everyone involved.
With experience across both operational and commercial roles, Craig understands the importance of clear communication, dependable service and finding practical solutions when conditions change. His knowledge of agronomy and regional agriculture also gives him valuable insight into seasonal pressures, production cycles and the realities facing Australian growers and agribusinesses.
Craig is passionate about connecting people, products and logistics to create better outcomes across the supply chain. His approachable nature, industry knowledge and commitment to building genuine relationships make him a valuable addition to the FM & Sons team as the business continues to grow its customer base and freight network across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and beyond.
